‘Next year’ always seems so far away, yet we’re here in 2024 before we know it. For those of us who love to plan and enjoy the excitement of mapping out goals and priorities in advance, now is the time to familiarise ourselves with what’s happening events-wise in Glasgow for the year ahead. JANUARY 2024
Celtic Connections 18th January – 4th February. A celebration of Celtic music in all its glory, taking place in several venues throughout Glasgow.
FEBRUARY 2024
Glasgow Film Festival 28th February – 10 March. Now in its 20th year, it’s considered one of the top 3 film festivals in the UK.
MARCH 2024
Calling all Country Music lovers to the OVO Hydro from March 8th – 10th, 2024. Headliners include Lady A, Thomas Rhett, and the Zac Brown Band. See Ticketmaster for details.
APRIL 2024
Glasgow Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival. April 28th, and Oran Mor on Byrnes Road will be rocking to the sounds of some extraordinary talent. Tickets are expected to sell out early.
MAY 2024
It’s time for a laugh as Rachel Parris, the BAFTA nominated Comedian returns to Glasgow on May 1st, at Glasgow’s Oran Mor.
